Phillip Landgraf
With over 22 years of experience, Phil Landgraf brings a unique blend of culinary expertise and technical design to his leadership role at Ricca. Before transitioning into foodservice design, he pursued a career in culinary arts and served as a teaching assistant/fellow at Johnson & Wales University Culinary Institute while earning his second degree. His background as both a culinary professional and designer informs his practical, operations-focused approach to every project.
Since joining Ricca in 2014, he has led projects across all markets including sports & public assembly, education, healthcare, hospitality and corporate. In addition to leading Ricca’s sports and public assembly market sector, Phil serves in company leadership and mentors multiple studio teams. He also brings extensive experience in management advisory services, including facility analysis, benchmarking, menu development and staff training.
As an executive principal and Ricca shareholder, Phil is heavily involved in planning, concept and schematic design and oversees the design process through construction. He creates and drives the project vision, adheres to programming and provides strategic planning. As both an executive chef and designer, he is instrumental in guiding the culinary design team to remain focused on design intent and project goals throughout the project.
